Rane shows incidents, probably som ewhat facts , that took place in Se rbia of the war era. Things si milar to what you see on this fil m could happen virtually everywhere, but this fil m gives a very Yugoslavian feeling to ev erything. Yugo st yle mafia, Yugo style mu rder, and all that. Revol ting politicians and their gree d are to blame, not only the desperate young men who lose their reas oning wh ile tr ying to be some one. The fi lm and the casting is overall successful, and it's so very Serbian. I recommend it to anyone w ho.. well anyone who likes a good film. But don't expect an ything Amer ican style on this one, as I say it's Yug o to the bone.
