They sta rt liking the sudden guest from no where for the bea uty of the free existence. A police man comes a nd the dreams of freedom vanish. A barrage balloon app ears unexpectedly over a Bul garian vi llage. T he startled villa gers decide to knock it dow n wi th a f usillade. But the balloon flies off to the mount ains. T he villagers, ar med to the ir t eeth, se t off after it. But they are not alone in this underta king. There i s another ar med grou p that chas es the 'wonder'. An a rgument wh ose proper ty t he balloon is breaks out betwee n the two groups . It t urns out tha t the balloon fle w from Roman ia over the Danube River.
