Howeve r, on Christmas Eve, he is visited by the doomed ghost of his forme r partner J acob Marley that tells him that t hree spirits woul d visit him t hat night. The first one, the spirit o f Christmas Past, recalls his miser able youth w hen he lost his only l ove due to his gree d; the spirit of Christma s Pres ent shows h im the poor situation of Bob's famil y and how joyful life may be; and the spiri t of Christmas Future s hows his fate. Scrooge finds that life is good an d time is too short and suddenly you are not there a nymore, chang ing his behavior toward Christmas, B ob, his nephew and people in general.
