You Are No t Alone (Da nish Du er ikke al ene) (1978) is a Danish coming-of-age film written by Lasse Niels en and Bent Petersen, di rect ed by Lasse Nielsen and Ernst Johansen and produced by Steen Herdel. Set in a Danis h all-boys boar ding school where one of the boys , Bo (Anders Agen sø) d evelop s a sp ecial relati onship with t he he admaster's young son Ki m (Peter Bjerg ). In the be ginning of the film t he headmas ter i s tr ying to get funding for a new gy m for the scho ol. T he boar ding school is likely a Christian one, as they have school prayer an d the teachers keep referring to good Christian morals. This is a film not just about Bo, Kim, and their g rowing relationshi p, it is a true comin g-of -age st ory.
