Their little wire-haired te rrier , Asta, quite of ten stole the scene as he helpe d sleuth ou t the guilty party. He was a great little acto r an d rumor had it t hat away from the Thin Ma n movies, Asta was really Ski ppy. However, the six Thin Man m ovies credit this cute pooch as Asta.
