California gold rush, late 1800's: A gun slinging bounty hunt er (Mortimer) travels d eep into the mountains to find a deadly Apache warrior ( Brothe r Wolf) who is wanted b y the law. Along the way he passes thr ough a gold minin g Town. T he m iners help direct Mortimer to the Apac he and send him on his way .
Mortim er enters the for est and begins to track the Apache. B ack in town, the miners un-earth an an cient meteo r. They use their pick axes to crack i t open. A section of the meteo r splits apart and s pores explode o ut of it. The spor e surround and in fect the ent ire popula tion of the mining camp. They are transfor med into ravenous mutants.
A fter a v icious battle against the A pache warrior, Mortim er exits the forest with his prisoner in shack les. They hike back to t he minin g town to find them selves surroun ded b y a horde of b lood thirst y mutants. Now Morti mer th e gun slinger and Brother Wolf th e Warrior must join toget her to survive the mutan t hordes. Wh at ensues is a b loodbath o f horror for t he Dead and the Damn ed.
