Umberto Lenz i is undoubt edly the kin g of I talian cr ime movies, but unfortunate ly; S yndicate Sadists is not the best example s of his work i n this genre . Lenzi's crime flicks tend to be a cut above the rest be cause he makes fi lms based on stori es with a point, and they don't lack direction ; but this film feel s a bit too wayward to full y fit with the res t of h is stuff. T he film tak es obvious infl uence f rom Ser gio Leone's lan dmark western 'A Fistful of Dollars' (which in turn, to ok influenc e from Akira Kurosawa's landmark samura i flick Yojimbo), in that it f eatures two warring fam ilies and a strong c harac ter at the centre. The crime that Lenzi focu ses on is kidnapping, and we centre on a charac ter called 'Rambo'. Rambo is dragged into the war between the two families after his brother is killed because of it. Rambo uses his b rains and brawn to pit the two families against one ano ther, in the hope of gaining rev enge for his broth er's death , rescuing a young boy that they've kidn apped, and ultima tely lettin g the two sides destroy one another. The film's biggest ass et is und oubtedly Tomas Milian. Milian was put to great use by Lenzi in almost all of his crime thrillers. The range of charact ers he h as played for Le nzi is immense, and this one is easily o ne of th e coolest. The character i s called Rambo, which immediately sprang to mind the popular Sy lvester Stallone character - but for on ce, the Italians actuall y have n't stolen this name as Syndicate Sadists was released fi rst! As usual, the film is wickedly enterta ining, as we g et to watch Milian g et himse lf involved in the us ual array of c ar chases , shootouts and brawls. Lenzi has g ot him riding a motorbike this time r ound, and e very sce ne featurin g it an d Milian is a real stando ut! However, the f ilm often fe els like it doesn't really have anywhere to go, and this means that the running time is str etched out mor e th an it shoul d be. Compare d to the crime films of other Italian directors, Syndicate Sad ists is more than above average; but in rel ation to Lenzi crime flicks suc h as Almost Huma n and The Cynic, The Rat and The Fist - it doe sn't stand tall as one of L enzi 's best. Still, if y ou're looking for ninety minutes of t esto sterone fuelled mayhem - Syndicate Sadists will suf fice!

“至于合作方式，我倒是并不在 意，不管是卖 方子给罗大人 也好，还是和罗大 人合作也罢，我们都是可以的，只是如果是合作的话，我无法赞同罗大饶方式，我要按照自己的方式来做，如 果罗大人不同 意依着我的方式来做，那么只有卖方子。
