The Crystal Gems a re Garnet , Amethyst, Pearl and Steven , a you ng half-human, half-Gem boy who inherited his gemstone from his mother, the G ems' forme r leader Ro se Quartz. As Steven tries to figure out his powers, he spends his days with his huma n father G reg, his friend Connie, othe r people in Beach City, or the other Gems, whether to help th em s ave the world or just to h ang out.
