Set against the dram atic backdrop of the Spanish Ho ly Week cele brations, the series is a thriller led by tw o policewomen trying to solve a s eries of crimes in th e Andalus ian tow n of Morón de la Fronter a, in the politic al and cult ural region of Seville ’s so-c alled ‘deep Spain, ’ which is home to one of t he biggest intern ational U.S. milita ry bases.

Magaly Castillo is a Special Agent of the Militar y Police of the Un ited States Ar my sent to find out t he whereabouts o f a miss ing Ameri can soldier who seems to be linked to the shad y business of Co lonel Douglas Hoopen, head of the Air Forc e Base, and an unde rhanded marine, Li eutenant Andrew Taylor. They soon di scover that the two investiga tions are conne cted.
